The Ministry of Home Affairs, on November 14th, announced the appointment of two IPS officers to SP-level positions in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a tenure of five years. Their appointments are effective from the date they assume charge or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
The officers appointed are:
- Ms. Anupama James (2013-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IPS officer);
- Mr. Thube Prateek Vijaykumar (2013-batch Assam Meghalaya cadre IPS officer).
