New Delhi: MMTC Limited, one of India’s leading public sector enterprises, has appointed Mr. Jatinderjit Singh Mann as Director (Marketing) on its Board, effective immediately. The appointment was formalized during the company’s 489th Board Meeting and follows an official order from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Government Approval Triggers Appointment
The appointment was sanctioned based on Office Order No. A-12022/12/2017-E.IV, dated 4 February 2026, issued by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The order reflects the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet’s (ACC) clearance through the Department of Personnel & Training.
Mr. Mann, aged 52, will serve a five-year tenure in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,80,000–3,40,000, effective from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders.

Mr. Mann brings over two decades of experience in marketing, consultancy, and public sector management:
- Educational Background: B.E. in Electronics & Communications Engineering (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, 1994–98) and MBA in Finance (Punjabi University, Patiala, 2020–22)
- Previous Roles: Additional General Manager (Marketing/Consultancy) and Head of RDSS-J&K at NTPC Ltd
- Expertise: Combines engineering, finance, and marketing skills to drive strategic initiatives
He has confirmed that he has no relationship with any current directors and is not debarred by SEBI or any other regulatory authority.

The appointment comes at a critical time as MMTC focuses on expanding its marketing footprint across domestic and international markets. Mr. Mann’s combined experience in public sector marketing and consultancy, along with his recent finance specialization, is expected to bring renewed strategic direction to MMTC’s marketing vertical.
