In accordance with Para 8 (ix) of the Guidelines for Transfer/Posting of IFS Officers of AGMUT Cadre-2019, it has been stated that officers transferred shall be considered “stand relieved” with effect from the date of issuance of this letter. Their salary for the following month shall be paid by the segment to which they have been transferred.
Officers who fail to join their new place of posting will bear the onus of the delay themselves. Moreover, their candidature for future promotions or central deputations may not be considered, as per the aforementioned guidelines.
Accordingly, all concerned officers (as listed in Annexure-I) are directed to report to their new place of posting immediately. Their relieving orders and joining reports must be sent to the Ministry at the earliest.
Failure to join the assigned segment could lead to the initiation of disciplinary proceedings under the relevant service rules. This circular has been issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
