In a world where uncertainty often breaks even the strongest spirits, some individuals rise not because everything went as planned – but because they refused to give up when nothing did.

On February 20, 2026, when the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission officially released the final results of the Chhattisgarh Judiciary (Civil Judge Junior Division) Exam 2024, one name shone brightly — Aaryamaan Singh Raghuwanshi.

Securing Rank 7 in his very first attempt for Chhattisgarh Judiciary, Aryaman turned years of uncertainty, patience, and relentless consistency into a life-changing success.

But behind that PDF result was a journey filled with near failures, prolonged delays, self-doubt, discipline, and an unshakable belief in hard work.

Indian Masterminds exclusively interacted with him to learn more about his inspiring journey and to understand how the Judiciary exam differs from other competitive examinations.

Journey So Far: A Roller-Coaster of Ups and Downs

When asked to define his journey in a few words, he reflects honestly – “The journey has been full of ups and downs. Nothing went as planned. But the journey itself was the best part. Now that the result is out, I’m not as excited as I was during the journey. Remembering the process gives me the best feeling.”

After graduating in 2022, Aryaman attempted the Madhya Pradesh Civil Judge exam once. It was the 2022 examination, conducted in early 2023.

He missed clearing the prelims by just one mark.

For many aspirants, a one-mark failure can shatter confidence. For Aryaman, it became silent fuel.

He had filled out the Chhattisgarh Judiciary form earlier once but did not appear. This time, he committed fully. Despite delays caused by Supreme Court stays and prolonged procedures, he stayed patient.

Finally, in his first serious attempt at Chhattisgarh Judiciary 2024, he secured Rank 7.

His Background: Roots of Simplicity, Foundation of Values

Aaryamaan belongs to Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, with family roots in Betul.

His father, Shivendra Raghuwanshi, and mother, Kala Shivendra Raghuvanshi, are both government school teachers. Growing up in a modest household where education and discipline were priorities, Aryaman learned early that success is earned, not inherited.

He completed his schooling in Chhindwara, studying at Vidya Bhoomi Public School (English medium).

After Class 12, he cleared CLAT with an All India Rank of 974 and pursued his law degree from Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur.

He later completed his LLM from Indore University (2022–23) while simultaneously preparing for the Judiciary.

During preparation, he practiced at the Chhindwara District Court and even gained brief exposure at the Supreme Court of India.

His preparation was guided by his uncle, Advocate Devendra Singh Raghuvanshi. He dedicates his success to his late grandfather Yashwant Singh Chaudhary, his teachers, parents, and uncle.

According to Aryaman – “Values, guidance, and consistent hard work are the real keys to success.”

The Biggest Struggle: Fighting Uncertainty

Unlike exams like UPSC or State PSCs, Judiciary exams do not follow a fixed annual schedule.

Aaryamaan faced nearly three and a half years of uncertainty after graduation, during which only one major opportunity came. Court stays and administrative delays stretched the timeline even further.

He says: “The biggest struggle was uncertainty. When exams don’t happen regularly, motivation becomes difficult. That was the toughest phase.”

The fear of “What if there is no exam next year?” can drain even the most disciplined aspirant. But Aaryamaan chose patience over panic.

His Preparation Strategy: Simplicity with Precision

Judiciary exams consist of Prelims, Mains, and Interview — each demanding a different mindset.

1. Prelims Strategy – Mastery of Bare Acts

Since law carries the highest weightage in Judiciary exams, Aryaman focused heavily on Bare Acts.

He read them repeatedly until provisions became second nature. Revision was his strongest weapon.

2. Mains Strategy – Conceptual Clarity

Because of his deep understanding from Bare Acts, writing mains answers became structured and confident. Conceptual clarity helped him stand out.

3. Translation – Turning Weakness into Strength

Translation (English to Hindi and Hindi to English) carries significant weightage in Judiciary exams.

Coming from an English-medium background, Hindi translation initially posed difficulty. Instead of avoiding it, he practiced rigorously and converted it into a scoring area.

Interview Experience: Calmness Over Perfection

Aaryamaan realized something crucial during his interview — personality matters more than perfection.

Some of the questions asked included

  • Which country has the biggest Constitution? (India)
  • Who said India has the biggest Constitution? (Dr. B.R. Ambedkar)
  • What is the logic behind it?
  • Where is the largest statue of Dr. Ambedkar located?
  • Who was the first Law Minister of India?

He observed:

“They don’t expect you to answer everything. They check whether you remain calm under pressure.”

By the time you reach the interview, your knowledge has already been tested. What remains is your composure.

How Judiciary Exam Differs from UPSC & Other PSC Exams

According to Aaryamaan:

  • Competition is relatively less in numbers, but highly specialized.
  • Every candidate already has a law background. No one starts from zero.
  • Posts are extremely limited — in his case, only 17 posts for his category.
  • Law carries maximum weightage.

Judiciary demands depth over breadth.

Three Golden Keys to Success

When asked to name the three most important elements for cracking Judiciary, Aryaman answered:

  1. Hard Work
  2. Consistency
  3. Patience

He firmly believes – “The harder you work, the luckier you get.”

A Moment of Glory: Pride Beyond Personal Success

As news of his selection spread, congratulatory messages poured in from across Chhindwara and the Raghuvanshi community.

Village head Beni Singh Raghuwanshi expressed pride, stating that Aryaman has brought glory to the village and inspired rural youth to aim for high judicial positions.

For a village to celebrate one of its own becoming a Civil Judge is more than success — it is collective aspiration turning into reality.

Message for Aspirants

Aaryamaan’s message is simple yet powerful:

  • Be consistent.
  • Use your time wisely.
  • Do not depend on luck.
  • Set clear goals.
  • Work continuously, even when results are uncertain.

He says:

“All the struggle ends with one result – a PDF file. That day, every sacrifice feels justified.”

The Journey Is the Real Reward

Aaryamaan Singh Raghuwanshi’s story is not just about securing Rank 7.

It is about missing prelims by one mark.
It is about waiting through court stays and uncertainty.
It is about practicing law while preparing.
It is about converting weaknesses into strengths.
It is about staying calm when nothing goes according to plan.

From a teacher’s household in Chhindwara to the prestigious bench of Chhattisgarh Judiciary, his journey proves one timeless truth:

Success is not built in the moment of result.
It is built in the silent years when nobody is watching.

And sometimes, the most beautiful part of success… is the struggle that shapes you before it arrives.
