Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of holistic education and cultural values while addressing the silver jubilee celebrations of Sagar Group of Institutions in Bhopal. During the event, he also laid the foundation for Sagar Public School, Missrod, marking the group’s seventh educational institution.
Students Should Aim to Be Job Creators, Not Just Job Seekers
CM Yadav urged students to pursue excellence not only in administrative or police careers but also as teachers, dedicated public representatives, skilled entrepreneurs, and progressive farmers. He said:
“Life should follow the path of excellence. Students must engage in initiatives that enable them to become job creators, not just job seekers.”
He highlighted the importance of staying connected to Indian culture and human values, citing the friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudama as an example of moral and ethical learning.

Education With Culture and Technology
The CM stressed that while technology is critical for progress, maintaining a connection with Indian cultural roots must remain a priority. He said this combination is essential for producing well-rounded individuals capable of contributing to the nation’s development.
He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, noting that Indians are excelling in key positions at global organizations like Google and other multinational companies.
Honouring Talented Students and Teachers
During the ceremony, CM Yadav honored students and staff members for their achievements. Highlights included:
- Anshuman Maurya, who secured 99.6% in Class 10 and ranked third all-India
- Students presenting science models on water pollution prevention, wind energy, and live guard management
- Art and clay model exhibitions demonstrating creativity and innovation
The Chief Minister interacted with students, appreciating their talent and encouraging them to continue innovating.
Sagar Group’s Contribution to Education
The Sagar Group has now completed 25 years in the education sector, operating seven institutions. CM Yadav congratulated the group for their journey and contribution to creating future-ready students. Legislator Rameshwar Sharma also addressed the event, and the founders of the Sagar Group—Sudhir, Siddharth, and Sagar—welcomed the dignitaries.
