The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG) has approved the appointment of Motilal Meena as a Non-Official Director (NoD) on the Board of Oil India Limited (OIL). The development was confirmed via an exchange filing by the company on Friday.
The appointment, dated May 9, 2025, was made with the approval of the Competent Authority, as per the ministry’s official communication. The Board of Oil India will induct Meena as an Independent Director, in compliance with the relevant provisions of the Companies Act and SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
