Bhopal: The Mohan Cabinet on Tuesday approved several key proposals, including major renewable energy initiatives and the Space Tech Policy–2026, during a Cabinet meeting held at the state secretariat. Notably, this meeting marked the first fully digital Cabinet session of the Mohan government, with all ministers participating using tablets instead of traditional paper files.
800 MW Solar and Storage Projects Approved

Space Tech Policy–2026 Gets Cabinet Nod
The Cabinet also approved the Space Tech Policy–2026, aimed at boosting space technology initiatives at the local level. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said the policy is expected to attract investments worth ₹1,000 crore over the next five years and generate around 8,000 employment opportunities in the state.

First Digital Cabinet Meeting
A key highlight of the meeting was the transition to a paperless Cabinet system. All ministers attended the meeting carrying tablets, replacing traditional physical files. The move reflects the Mohan government’s push toward digital governance, efficiency, and transparency. Ministers had been earlier provided tablets and training, making this meeting the first practical implementation of the digital Cabinet initiative.
The decisions taken in the Cabinet meeting underline the state government’s focus on renewable energy, technological innovation, irrigation development, and digital transformation, positioning Madhya Pradesh for sustainable growth and modern governance.
