The Cabinet approved the creation of an electronic manufacturing cluster over 210 acres on Bairasia Road, Bhopal. This facility will house production units for televisions, refrigerators, computers, and other electronic devices. Infrastructure developments such as roads, water, and power supply will accompany the project to attract investment and generate employment opportunities.
New Prosecution Policy for Government Officials to Ensure Accountability
A major governance reform was passed mandating Cabinet approval before prosecuting government employees or officers involved in corruption, asset discrepancies, or misuse of authority. This step aims to improve transparency and administrative responsibility.
Enhanced Scholarship Support for Scheduled Tribe Students
Scholarship benefits for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students have been extended from 10 to 12 months annually. Additionally, the monthly stipend has been increased to ₹1,700 for girls and ₹1,650 for boys, helping students with competitive exam preparation and hostel expenses.
Geeta Bhawan Scheme to Promote Cultural and Educational Activities
The Cabinet approved the construction of Geeta Bhawans in all urban local bodies across Madhya Pradesh. These centers will act as hubs for religious, social, and cultural programs, fostering community engagement and learning.
