Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Sunday inaugurated a newly constructed shopping complex and sports complex at Atal Parisar in Ujjain. He also performed the bhoomi-pujan (foundation ceremony) for the construction of a bus depot and charging infrastructure under the Prime Minister E-Bus Service Scheme.
Projects Worth Over ₹44 Crore Dedicated to Public
The Chief Minister inaugurated:
- A shopping complex built at a cost of ₹5.43 crore
- A sports complex developed at a cost of ₹28.31 crore
Along with this, he laid the foundation stone for:
- A bus depot and charging infrastructure costing ₹10.75 crore under the PM E-Bus Service Scheme
These projects aim to strengthen urban infrastructure and improve public facilities in Ujjain.
CM Reviews Construction Quality at Atal Parisar
During the visit, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the shopping and sports complexes and appreciated the quality of construction. He said that these projects are an important step towards the overall development of Ujjain city.
Atal Parisar Developed Under Smart City Mission
The development of Atal Parisar has been carried out by Ujjain Smart City Limited under the Smart City Mission.
Key facilities developed in the campus include:
- A modern swimming pool
- A club house
- A well-equipped sports complex
These facilities will provide better options for sports, health, and recreation to the citizens.
G+2 Shopping Complex Built Near Agar Road
The G+2 shopping complex has been constructed at Atal Parisar, located near Agar Road, Gadi Adda Square. The complex has been designed keeping the needs of both citizens and traders in mind.
Floor-wise Facilities:
- Ground Floor: 27 shops
- First Floor: 27 shops
- Second Floor: 27 offices
This setup will help boost commercial activities and create local employment opportunities.
Parking, Lift and Fire Safety Facilities Available
The shopping complex offers several modern amenities, including:
- Parking for two-wheelers and four-wheelers
- Lift facility from basement to second floor
- Fire extinguishers for fire safety
- Public toilets for visitors
