Bhopal/La Coruna: On the second day of his Spain visit, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will focus on forging global partnerships in the textile sector, with a particular emphasis on sustainable investment and technology collaboration. The day’s engagements, scheduled in La Coruna — the hub of Spain’s textile and fashion innovation — aim to position Madhya Pradesh as a leading destination for textile and apparel manufacturing for European and global brands.
Madhya Pradesh Aims to Attract Global Textile Majors
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will present Madhya Pradesh as a state with strong policy support, robust infrastructure, and skilled manpower capable of serving global markets. Highlighting the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park, the Chief Minister will invite sustainable and technology-driven investments in the sector.
He will elaborate on MP’s incentives for textile manufacturers, export-oriented production, environmental compliance frameworks, and emerging opportunities in synthetic and natural fiber ecosystems.

Visit to Inditex Headquarters in La Coruna
A key highlight of the day will be CM Yadav’s visit to the Inditex headquarters, one of the world’s largest fashion and apparel companies, which owns global brands like Zara, Pull&Bear, and Massimo Dutti. During his interaction with Inditex representatives, the focus will be on:
- Promoting MP as a production hub for European brands
- Exploring technology transfer and sustainable manufacturing practices
- Inviting collaboration on skill development, R&D, and sourcing from MP-based units
- Engagements with Local Government and Industry Leaders
The CM will also meet representatives of the local government and the Chamber of Commerce of La Coruna, to strengthen institutional cooperation and explore bilateral trade opportunities.
