The government of Nagaland recently carried out a significant bureaucratic reshuffle by transferring 21 IAS officers and an equal number of Nagaland Civil Service (NCS) officers across the state. As per a notification by the DoPT, the said officers shall take up their new posting by July 29th.

  • Mr. Sanjay Kumar (1992-batch IAS officer), on return from Central deputation, has been posted as Director General – ATI, Nagaland.
  • Mr. R Ramakrishnan (1998–batch IAS officer), presently Development Commissioner & Principal Secretary to CM, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary – Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR) Department, Nagaland.
  • Mr. E Mhonbemo Patton (IA&AS officer), presently Principal Secretary – Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary – Environment, Forests & Climate Change Department (EF&CC), Nagaland.
  • Mr. Y Kikheto Sema (2011-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary – Environment, Forests & Climate Change Department (EF&CC), has become Commissioner & Secretary – Law & Justice and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Departments, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Vyasan R (2007-batch IAS officer), presently CEO of Nagaland & Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC), Nagaland, shall hold additional charge of Home Commissioner after being relieved of his charge as Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC), Nagaland.
  • Mr. Anoop Khinchi (2008-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR) and Law & Justice Departments, was relieved of the charge of Law & Justice Department, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Sushil Kumar Patel (2009-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner – Nagaland and Commissioner & Secretary – Soil & Water Conservation Department, has been relieved of the charge of Commissioner – Nagaland.
  • Mr. Vikeyie Kenya (2019-batch IAS officer), presently Home Commissioner and Commissioner & Secretary – AH&VS Department, has been relieved of the charge of Home Commissioner.
  • Mr. Kenilo Apon (2019-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary – the Urban Development & Municipal Affairs Departments, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary – DUDA.
  • Mr. K S Anden Konyak (2020-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary – Department of Under Developed Areas (DUDA), has been transferred and posted as Commissioner – Nagaland.
  • Mr. Wezope Kenye (2020-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary – Youth Resources & Sports (YRS) and Parliamentary Affairs Departments, has been transferred and posted as Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC), Nagaland, and Commissioner & Secretary – Agriculture Department, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Mohammed Ali Shihab (2011-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary – Information Technology & Communication (IT&C) and Economics & Statistics Departments, has been relieved of the charge of Economics & Statistics Department, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Rajesh S (2011-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary to Governor and Commissioner & Secretary – Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Higher & Technical Education Departments, has been relieved of the charge of Labour & Employment and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Nagaland.
  • Ms. Temsunaro Aier (2022-batch IAS officer), presently Managing Director – Samagra, is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary – Information and Public Relations Department, Nagaland shall continue to hold the charge of Managing Director, Samagra.
  • Ms. Athel O Lotha (2020-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary – Art & Culture Department, shall hold additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary – Excise Department, Nagaland.
  • Dr Zasekuolie Chusi (2019-batch IAS officer), presently Commissioner & Secretary – Transport Department and Director, Census Operation, is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary – the Land Revenue Department Nagaland and shall continue to be the Director, Census Operations.
  • Ms. Sotsula (2022-batch IAS officer), presently Secretary – the Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary – of Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Shanavas C (2012-batch IAS officer), presently Secretary in the Agriculture Department and Principal Director (PD), ELEMENT & FOCUS, IFAD, has been transferred and posted as Secretary – Industries and Commerce Department. He shall continue to hold the charge of PD – ELEMENT & FOCUS, IFAD, Nagaland.
  • Dr G Hukugha Sema (IRS), presently Commissioner & Secretary – Planning & Transformation Department, has been transferred and posted as Officer-On-SpecialDuty (OSD) – Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Abhinav Shivam (2016-batch IAS officer), presently Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukedima, Nagaland has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Taxes, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Shashank Pratap Singh (2016-batch IAS officer), presently Director of Minority Affairs shall hold the additional charge of Secretary – Nagaland State Human Rights Commission.
  • Mr. Vineet Kumar (2017-batch IAS officer), presently Deputy Commissioner, Peren has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner – Wokha, Nagaland.
  • Mr. Dharam Raj (2017-batch IAS officer), presently Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary – Works & Housing Department and Chief Minister’s Office, Nagaland.
