Two-Phase Execution Plan
Phase 1 – EPC Works (First 3 Years):
DBL will undertake Engineering, Procurement, and Construction activities, including the development of an overland conveyor corridor and essential mine infrastructure required for full-scale operations.
Phase 2 – Mining & Transportation (Next 22 Years):
Once the infrastructure is complete, DBL will move into long-term mining operations, including systematic extraction and transportation of bauxite.
This multi-decade partnership is expected to ensure stable raw material supply for NALCO’s alumina and aluminium production facilities while improving logistics efficiency.

In a separate development, NALCO has also awarded a ₹11.78 crore, 24-month consultancy contract to South West Pinnacle Exploration Ltd.
The consultancy focuses on bauxite exploration studies, geological analysis, and resource mapping. The work will help NALCO refine mining strategies, assess deposit potential, and strengthen its long-term mineral security.
This contract reflects NALCO’s continued emphasis on detailed exploration—a critical component in maximizing resource recovery and identifying new reserves to support future mining expansions.
NALCO Continues Regular Tendering for Supplies & Services
