Bhubaneswar: In a significant step toward strengthening raw material security and boosting domestic resource development, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has signed a Bauxite Mining Agreement with M/s Dilip Buildcon Limited. The agreement is aimed at the development and operation of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines, along with the Overland Conveyor Corridor (OLCC) and other allied facilities.
Strategic Partnership for Resource Security
The agreement marks an important milestone in NALCO’s efforts to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of bauxite, a critical raw material for aluminium production. The development of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines is expected to support NALCO’s long-term operational requirements and enhance efficiency across its value chain.

Agreement Signed in Presence of Senior Leadership
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of NALCO’s top leadership, including Mr. B. P. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director; Mr. P. K. Sharma, Director (Production); Mr. Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical); and Mr. A. K. Behuria, Director (Finance). Senior officials from both NALCO and M/s Dilip Buildcon Limited were also present during the event.

The project is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening India’s aluminium ecosystem by ensuring uninterrupted availability of bauxite for NALCO’s operations. It aligns with the company’s long-term production goals and contributes to the development of infrastructure and mining capabilities in the region.
