Nav Goel, a 2015-batch officer of the Indian Railways Accounts Service (IRAS), has been appointed as Additional General Manager (Finance) (E-6 level) at the Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), Delhi.
Prior to this, he was serving as Joint General Manager (Finance) at the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL). He also held the position of Deputy Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer with Indian Railways between January and December 2021.
An alumnus of Harcourt Butler Technological University, Goel holds a B.Tech degree and a MicroMasters credential from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His professional experience spans diverse areas including financial evaluation of railway projects, budget preparation, HR management, GST implementation, enterprise risk management, and asset management accounting.
