Centre Appoints 8 Officers Across Ministries, Extends One Joint Secretary’s Tenure; IAS Nitish Rajora Relieved in Jammu & Kashmir

New Delhi: The Government of India on Monday issued a fresh set of appointment and tenure notifications covering officers from multiple services including IAS, IRS, ICAS, IA&AS, IOFS and IRSME.

The orders include appointments in economic affairs, expenditure, public enterprises, MSME, renewable energy and home affairs, while one senior officer has received a one-year tenure extension.

Separately, in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha ordered the relieving of IAS officer Nitish Rajora from his duties in the Union Territory.

Umme Fardina Adil, an IRS (Income Tax) officer of 2013 batch, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs for a period of four years.

Ishoo Ratna Srivastav Moves to Renewable Energy Ministry

Ishoo Ratna Srivastav, an IRSME officer of 2012 batch, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy for five years.

Anupam Raj Posted as Financial Advisor in Assam Rifles

Anupam Raj has been appointed as Integrated Financial Advisor (Deputy Secretary level) in Assam Rifles, Shillong, under the Ministry of Home Affairs for four years.

Sandeep Dabur Appointed in MSME Development Office

Sandeep Dabur has been appointed as Joint Development Commissioner (Deputy Secretary level) in the Office of Development Commissioner under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for four years.

Debapriya Bardhan and Rashmi Join Department of Expenditure

Debapriya Bardhan has been appointed as Director in the Department of Expenditure for five years.

Rashmi has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the same department for four years.

Pradeep Kumar Appointed in Department of Public Enterprises

Pradeep Kumar has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Public Enterprises for four years.

Ved Prakash Mishra Gets One-Year Extension

The tenure of Ved Prakash Mishra, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, has been extended by one year beyond 31 March 2026.

He belongs to the 2004 batch of IRS (Income Tax).

Anugraha P Posted as CVO at Chennai Port Authority

Anugraha P has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer of Chennai Port Authority, Chennai.

The appointment is on lateral shift basis from a CSS post to a non-CSS post and will continue up to 3 September 2029.

Nitish Rajora Relieved from Duties in Jammu and Kashmir

In a separate administrative development, IAS officer Nitish Rajora has been relieved from his responsibilities in Jammu and Kashmir by order of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
