New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has received work orders worth approximately Rs 104.95 crore in the normal course of business, according to a regulatory filing with stock exchanges. The contracts, awarded by domestic entities, reinforce NBCC’s expanding footprint in infrastructure development and project management consultancy.
Project Management Consultancy for Rourkela Steel Plant
The first order, valued at around Rs 14.72 crore, has been awarded by Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
The project scope includes:
- Development of sports infrastructure
- Lagoon de-silting and gate repair
- Renovation and upgradation of six conventional operation theatres into modular operation theatre complexes at Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela
This assignment strengthens NBCC’s engagement in healthcare and community infrastructure projects.
Major Assignment for NLC India Limited
The second and larger order, worth approximately Rs 90.23 crore, has been awarded by NLC India Limited.
It involves providing project management consultancy services for constructing a Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) colony for the Pachwara South Open Cast Project of Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited in Jharkhand.
This contract highlights NBCC’s expertise in large-scale residential and industrial infrastructure projects.
Domestic Focus and Compliance
Both contracts are domestic in nature and fall within NBCC’s regular business activities. The company clarified that there is no promoter or related-party interest involved in the awarded projects.
