New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has signed a significant agreement with the Government of Goa for the redevelopment of seven key infrastructure projects in the state.
The agreement was formally signed on September 26, 2025, marking a new chapter in infrastructure modernization and urban development in Goa.
Redevelopment of Iconic Public Infrastructure
As part of the agreement, NBCC will undertake the redevelopment of –
- Prashasan Stambh
- Government Quarters, St. Inez
- Circuit House
- KTC Bus Stand, Vasco
- Junta House
- And other state assets.
These projects are part of the Goa Government’s push to upgrade outdated public infrastructure, improve urban amenities, and create sustainable, modern facilities across key administrative and transit points.
Project Value Exceeds ₹1,700 Crore
The total estimated cost of the redevelopment projects stands at over ₹1,700 crore, underscoring the scale and strategic importance of the initiative. The projects will be designed and executed by NBCC, known for its expertise in large-scale infrastructure and public sector redevelopment.
NBCC’s Continued Role in Nation-Building
NBCC has played a key role in executing high-value redevelopment projects across India, including in Delhi, Jharkhand, and Tripura. With this agreement, the company expands its footprint further into Goa, reinforcing its role in nation-building and sustainable urban transformation.
