NBCC (India) Limited, a prominent Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, has secured two major contracts totaling Rs 229.75 crore, bolstering its expanding order book.

The first of these orders, valued at Rs 148.4 crore, has been awarded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for the development of infrastructure at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bilaspur. The project will include the construction of 72 residential units, a 204-bed undergraduate boys’ hostel, a 334-bed girls’ hostel, and four lecture halls for nursing and paramedical science courses. It will also see the installation of a rooftop solar PV power generation system.

The second contract, worth Rs 81.35 crore, involves providing project management consultancy services for the construction of new hostel and dining facilities, along with other infrastructure at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Visakhapatnam.

These new contracts come on the heels of several other recent wins, collectively valued at Rs 405 crore, covering multiple locations including Delhi, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh.

Despite the mixed market reaction, with the company’s stock trading flat at Rs 91.97 per share as of 11:35 AM on Friday, NBCC has shown resilience with a 31.08 percent increase in share value over the last year, though it has seen a dip of 23.83 percent over the past six months.

NBCC continues to strengthen its presence in both the public and academic sectors, positioning itself as a key player in India’s infrastructure development.
