The effort contributes directly to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering transparency, accessibility, and service efficiency.
DigiLocker, a flagship digital infrastructure under NeGD, has emerged as a trusted and secure platform that ensures interoperability, data privacy, and scalable citizen engagement. It continues to play a central role in providing digital access to verified documents and services.
Future-Ready Vision: AI-Driven Expansion Ahead
Building on this momentum, NeGD is gearing up for the next wave of innovation by integrating AI-driven technologies into its service platforms. The goal is to expand the scope and quality of e-Government services while also ensuring greater last-mile connectivity.
Planned initiatives include–
- Structured training programmes and awareness workshops at the State level
