New Delhi: Mr. Sandeep Srivastava, IRSEE, has been permanently absorbed into the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd. (NHSRCL), effective from September 18, 2025, following approval by the President of India. Mr. Srivastava, a permanent officer of Indian Railways, will now continue his career under NHSRCL rules and benefits, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s strategy to integrate experienced railway professionals into high-speed rail projects.

Pension and Retirement Benefits to Continue

Despite the absorption, Mr. Srivastava will continue to draw pension and pro-rata gratuity for his service under Indian Railways. Retirement benefits will be calculated under the Railway Services (Pension) Rules, 1993, and his existing provident fund balance will be transferred to NHSRCL’s fund.
