NMDC’s November Output Jumps 18%, Sales Hit Record 4 MT

NMDC Limited achieved a record-breaking 4.51 MT of iron ore production and 4 MT in sales for November 2024, marking an 18% and 5.5% growth respectively, as it advances towards its ambitious 50 MT annual target.

NMDC Limited, India’s largest iron ore producer, has achieved its highest-ever production and sales figures for November 2024. The state-owned mining major reported 4.51 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore production, marking an 18% growth compared to 3.83 MT in November 2023. Sales also reached a record 4 MT, a 5.5% increase from 3.79 MT during the same period last year.

CMD (additional charge) Amitava Mukherjee credited this milestone to the team’s dedication and the company’s robust growth strategies. “This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to performance and sustainable growth, positioning us to deliver enhanced value to stakeholders,” he said.

The record performance underscores NMDC’s operational efficiency, driven by strategic planning, optimized pricing, and strong customer engagement. With this momentum, NMDC is on track to achieve its ambitious target of producing 50 MT of iron ore in the current fiscal year, solidifying its leadership in the sector.
