Mumbai: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), the flagship subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has been honored with the prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Social Responsibility (GPACSR) – 2025 under the National Award category. The award recognizes NCL’s outstanding initiatives in sustainable community development and integration of ESG principles into corporate governance.
Award Ceremony Highlights
The accolade was conferred during the 20th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility organized by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India, at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The conference was themed: “Making CSR Work: Integrating ESG into Board Strategy and Governance.”
Mr. Manish Kumar, Director (HR), NCL, received the award on behalf of the company, accompanied by Mr. Rajiv Ranjan, General Manager (CSR), and other senior officials of NCL.
