Kamlesh Kumar Pant, Chairperson of the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. This decision was approved by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on August 1, 2024. It allows Mr. Pant, an IAS officer of the 1993 batch from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, to avail the benefit of promotion.
