New Delhi: In a significant development under India’s green energy push, Solarium Green Energy has clinched a major ₹26.6 crore work order from NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. (NVVN)—a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited. The project, focused on rooftop solar infrastructure across Northeastern states, was awarded under a tender floated by NVVN for Ministry of Home Affairs establishments.
NTPC Drives Clean Energy Expansion in Northeast
The work order comprises two solar projects. The first, valued at ₹12.98 crore, involves the development of a 3319 kW rooftop solar PV system across multiple sites in the region. This project, falling under the 51–200 kW capacity bracket, is scheduled for completion within 90 days.
The second order, worth ₹13.63 crore, targets the installation of 3443 kW rooftop solar capacity across similar government sites. This segment, covering projects sized between 201–1000 kW, is expected to be completed within 120 days.
Both tenders were issued under NVVN’s rate contract framework for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of grid-connected rooftop solar PV systems across India.
