New Delhi: NTPC Limited proudly congratulates Sheetal Devi for her landmark achievement in becoming India’s first-ever individual Para Archery World Champion. This historic victory took place at the World Archery Para Championships 2025 held in Gwangju, South Korea, where she clinched the gold medal in the Compound Women’s Individual category.

NTPC has been a steadfast partner of the Archery Association of India (AAI) since 2018, dedicated to promoting and nurturing the sport at the grassroots and elite levels. Recently, NTPC renewed its partnership with AAI, committing ₹2,420 lakh over the next four years. This funding aims to support National Ranking Archery Tournaments (NRATs), National Archery Championships (NACs), Para National Archery Championships (PNACs), and provide kits and uniforms to Indian archers representing the country internationally.

Building a Stronger Sporting Ecosystem

Through this collaboration, NTPC reinforces its vision of nation-building by empowering youth and elevating India’s stature in global sports. The company’s support ensures sustained growth and infrastructure development for archery, fostering sporting excellence and enabling athletes like Sheetal Devi to achieve global acclaim.
