New Delhi: In a significant development for digital governance, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has secured a major IT work order worth ₹10.05 crore from the Government of Odisha. The contract was awarded by the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) and is scheduled for completion by January 20, 2026.
Driving Tech Integration in Public Welfare
The project involves comprehensive implementation of IT solutions tailored to the operational needs of the SSEPD Department. This initiative is aimed at strengthening the department’s digital capabilities and service outreach.
In its official exchange filing under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR), RailTel clarified that this is not a related party transaction and that the promoter group has no direct interest in the deal. The filing was digitally signed by Jasmeet Singh Marwah, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
