New Delhi: The Indian Navy’s Operation Sindoor continues in the northern Arabian Sea, showcasing the Navy’s high combat readiness, according to Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi. Launched after the Pahalgam attack in May 2025, the operation has involved the aggressive deployment of the carrier battle group, including INS Vikrant, keeping the Pakistani Navy confined to its ports and inflicting significant economic losses.
Operation Sindoor: Strategic Deployment and Rapid Response
Admiral Tripathi stated that Operation Sindoor has involved –
- Rapid Deployment: Indian Navy ships were quickly mobilized in the northern Arabian Sea.
- Weapons Fired in 96 Hours: Multiple offensive maneuvers and weapon firings were carried out within just four days of the Pahalgam attack.
