Gurugram is set to witness the development of Asia’s largest jungle safari, modeled after the world-renowned Vantara Jungle Safari and Rehabilitation Center in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The ambitious plan was discussed following a recent visit by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, and State Forest Minister Rao Narbir Singh to Vantara.
The leaders spent two days at the sprawling center to study its innovative techniques, extensive resources, and efficient management systems. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini emphasized the goal to make the Gurugram jungle safari the largest in Asia, highlighting its strategic proximity to Delhi which will serve to attract tourists and promote wildlife conservation awareness.

Union Minister Khattar Praises Vantara, Plans Similar Project in Gurugram
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar described the Vantara Jungle Safari, developed by the Ambani family, as a remarkable model of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. He expressed the intention to replicate this success in Gurugram, underlining the environmental and educational benefits such a safari would bring to the region.
The minister stated that the primary purpose of the visit was to understand the necessary resources, techniques, and management structures required to establish and operate a similar large-scale jungle safari near the national capital.
