Gurugram: The 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, was held virtually on 26th August 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Mr Ravindra Kumar Tyagi, Chairman and Managing Director of POWERGRID. Also present were key board members including Ravisankar Ganesan (Director – Finance & CFO), Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi (Director – Personnel), Naveen Srivastava (Director – Operations), Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra (Director – Projects), and other distinguished government nominee and independent directors.
Shareholders and representatives of the Hon’ble President of India joined the meeting via virtual mode.
Key Highlights of the AGM
The management presented financial results, operational milestones, and future growth strategies, while also addressing shareholder queries.
Shareholders appreciated the company’s robust performance and forward-looking initiatives.
As of 31st July 2025, POWERGRID is operating:
- 286 substations
- Over 1,80,849 ckm of transmission lines
- 5,74,331 MVA of transformation capacity
The corporation continues to demonstrate world-class operational excellence, maintaining an average transmission system availability of over 99.85%, aided by the integration of advanced automation, digital tools, and innovative technologies.
