The Barh project, a key power infrastructure initiative by the state-owned energy giant, comprises five units of 660 MW each — three under Stage-I and two under Stage-II. While four units have already been commissioned, Unit-3 is poised to mark the final milestone toward full operational capacity.

Project Milestones and Capacity Details
Stage-I Units:

  • Unit-1 (660 MW) commissioned in November 2021
  • Unit-2 (660 MW) commissioned in July 2023
