Guwahati: In a meaningful contribution toward enhancing healthcare accessibility, Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, has donated a fully equipped ambulance to the Sub-Divisional Medical & Health Officer (SDM & HO) of Azara Block Primary Health Centre (BPHC). The health centre falls under the jurisdiction of the Guwahati Metropolitan City.
Formal Handover in the Presence of State Leadership
The ambulance was formally handed over on June 2, 2025, during a special ceremony graced by top dignitaries.
Mr. Pranab Jyoti Sarma, CGM & Head – Project Pipeline, NRL, and Mr. Lakhyadhar Kalita, GM – Project Pipeline, NRL, officially handed over the keys.
The event was held in the presence of-
- Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam
- Mr. Pijush Hazarika, Hon’ble Minister
- Senior doctors and staff of the Azara BPHC
The Azara BPHC hosted the handover event, reflecting the local community’s appreciation for the critical support.
