New Delhi: State-run telecom infrastructure provider RailTel Corporation of India Limited has won a major railway signalling project valued at approximately ₹35.54 crore, according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday. The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Dy. CSTE/P/CNB for executing a signalling modernization project under the Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway (NCR).
Project Scope and Details
The project involves the installation of MSDAC (Multi Section Digital Axle Counter) systems and associated works, including necessary indoor alterations at EI/RRI/PI stations within the division. The modernization aims to enhance operational safety and efficiency in railway signalling systems.

Execution Timeline
- Work Order Receipt Date: February 18, 2026, 4:00 PM
- Scheduled Completion: February 17, 2028 (24 months from LoA issuance)
The contract has been awarded by a domestic authority and does not qualify as a related party transaction. RailTel confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority.
