New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a leading state-owned telecommunications infrastructure provider and a PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has been awarded a significant contract by the Centre for E-Governance (CEG), Karnataka. The company received the Letter of Intent (LoI) for the procurement of back-to-back Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) support for existing KSWAN 2.0 routers and switches. The contract is valued at approximately Rs 18.22 crore.
Scope of the Contract
The order covers comprehensive OEM support services, which are essential for the maintenance and operational efficiency of the KSWAN 2.0 (Karnataka State Wide Area Network) infrastructure. These routers and switches are critical components that ensure seamless connectivity and data transfer for various government departments and e-governance applications across Karnataka.
