New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the CM Jan Sunwai Portal and Mobile App, aimed at providing a single platform for citizens to register grievances across multiple departments, including the Delhi Government, Delhi Police, Delhi Development Authority (DDA), and Municipal Corporations (MCD).
The portal simplifies complaint registration and features a three-tier grievance resolution system:
- JSAA – Jan Complaint Solution Officer
- AA – Appellate Authority
- FAA – Final Appellate Authority
Each complaint is assigned a unique reference ID, with real-time SMS updates and automated escalation in case of negative feedback. The initiative ensures 100% feedback-based monitoring and strengthens accountability at the field level.
CM Gupta emphasized that the platform is not just for registering complaints but demonstrates the government’s commitment to timely problem resolution and a corruption-free administration.
E-WS/DG/CWSN Admission Platform: Transparent Education Access
To improve transparency in school admissions, CM Gupta launched a new online platform for students under the E-WS (Economically Weaker Section), DG (Disadvantaged Groups), and CWSN (Children with Special Needs) categories.
Key features include:
- Aadhaar-based identity verification
- Digital verification of birth certificates and income certificates
- Automated seat allocation to prevent duplication and fraud
The system ensures equitable access to quality education, eliminates middlemen, and provides real-time updates to parents, making the process faster, secure, and fully transparent.
CSC Digital Service Portal: Local Access to Government Services
The Chief Minister also launched the Common Service Center (CSC) Digital Portal to bring over 75 e-district services closer to citizens, including certificates for income, caste, birth, and death, social welfare services, and labor or education-related documents.
- Services are available at 7,000+ active CSC centers across Delhi
- Nominal service fee fixed at ₹30 per service
- Reduces dependency on government offices and prevents exploitation by private cyber cafes
CM Gupta called this a historic initiative for bridging the digital divide and delivering efficient, low-cost government services to all citizens.
Asset Management & Real-Time Project Monitoring
For the first time, Delhi government’s complete digital record of assets has been created through the Asset Management Portal, tracking the status, availability, and encroachment of government properties.
The CM Pragati Portal now allows real-time monitoring of government projects, including:
- Current status and approvals
- Pending files
- Reasons for delays
This system is designed to speed up project execution, prevent cost overruns, and ensure public funds are used efficiently.
Strong Support from Ministers and Officials
- Education Minister Ashish Sood highlighted the portal’s role in preventing duplication and irregularities in school admissions.
- IT Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh emphasized digital governance initiatives, including cyber crisis management, paperless e-office systems, and integrated government websites.
- Upcoming plans include a WhatsApp-based service for easier citizen interaction and access to government services.
A Step Towards a Digital and Corruption-Free Delhi
CM Rekha Gupta stated that these initiatives are inspired by PM Narendra Modi’s Digital India vision and aim to make Delhi a transparent, accessible, and citizen-friendly government. With these projects, the government seeks to reduce bureaucratic hurdles, improve efficiency, and strengthen trust between citizens and the administration.
