Nagaland: Retd IAS Neposo Theluo Made Member of NPSC

Retired IAS officer Neposo Theluo has been inducted in Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) as the new member. He took an oath as the new member in an oath taking-ceremony held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat on November 30. The Oath of Secrecy was administered by the Chief Secretary J. Alam administered while Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha initiated the proceedings.

Mr. Theluo retired as Commissioner and Secretary of Rural Development and now has been appointed in NPSC by the state Governor. His tenure in NPSC will be of six years or until he turns 62. After the ceremony, the officer expressed gratitude to the government on his new appointment. He also assured the students to strive for fairness in the selection process, ensuring that no candidate would be unfairly treated.

The retired officer also emphasised the need to change the existing system that will guarantee the selection of right individuals for appropriate positions.
