1986 batch Retired IFS officer Chirra Achalender Reddy of AGMUT cadre who is the Former Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Department of Environment and Forests, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, has been appointed as Chairperson, National Biodiversity Authority (NBA). The Appointments Committee of the cabinet on Friday approved the appointment of Mr. Reddy to the post of Chairman of NBA.
