RINL Holds 42nd Annual General Meeting, Reviews Performance and Future Outlook

Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, held its 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday at its registered office in Visakhapatnam. The meeting was chaired by Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD (Additional Charge) of RINL, with Sudershan Mendiratta, Director from the Ministry of Steel, attending on behalf of the President of India as the authorized nominee.

The meeting also saw the presence of Arun Kanti Bagchi, Director (Projects) & Additional Charge Director (Operations); Suresh Chandra Pandey, Director (Personnel); Ch SRVGK Ganesh, Director (Finance); GVN Prasad, Director (Commercial); and Dr. Sanjay Roy, Government Director. The Company Affairs Department successfully coordinated the proceedings.

In his address, Saxena provided a comprehensive review of the company’s performance for the financial year 2023-24. He highlighted key strategic initiatives, production achievements, and the challenges RINL faced over the year. Saxena expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Steel, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, suppliers, customers, and ancillary units for their continued support and trust in the company.

Concluding the AGM, Saxena emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration with all stakeholders for RINL’s continued growth and success. He reiterated the company’s commitment to strengthening its position in the steel industry and achieving long-term sustainability.
