New Delhi: RITES Ltd, a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has invited online bids through a tender process from eligible firms and agencies for construction works related to railway electrification infrastructure in Karnataka. The company is acting as an Agent/Power of Attorney Holder for the project.
The tender pertains to the construction of store rooms and bore wells for Traction Sub-Stations (TSS) at Sakleshpur, Mandagere, Dudda, Alur, and Neralakatte, along with approach road and drainage works at the Sakleshpur TSS. These works form part of the railway electrification of the Mysuru–Hassan–Mangalore section of the South Western Railway.
Project Cost and Timeline
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.90 crore, with a stipulated completion period of nine months from the date of commencement. The project aims to strengthen essential infrastructure supporting electrification works, contributing to improved railway efficiency and sustainability in the region.
