The project involves the supply of signalling, telecommunications, and Electronic In-Motion Weigh Bridge (EIMWB) materials, along with extensive installation and commissioning works.

Surakachhar, Block Cabin, Katghora Road, Bhingra, Putuwa, Matin, Sendurgarh, Putipakhana, Dhangawan, and Bhadi.

The scope also includes the commissioning of six Intermediate Block Signalling (IBS) systems across the following sections:

2)Putuwa–Matin

3)Sendurgarh–Putipakhana

4)Putipakhana–Bhadi

5)Bhadi–Dhangawan

6)Dhangawan–Pendra Road

In addition, RVNL will install and commission a new section control system complete with headquarters and wayside train control communication equipment in the Gevra Road–Pendra Road section. The work also covers the installation and testing of a new telephone exchange and electronic in-motion weigh bridges at designated sites.

The contract further involves modification works at existing installations, including the panel interlocking system at Kusmunda Block Station yard and the electronic interlocking system at East Cabin of the SECL SILO Siding yard, along with other miscellaneous signalling and telecom upgrades.

This project highlights RVNL’s increasing footprint in the rail infrastructure sector and its role in enhancing railway safety, efficiency, and digitalisation through advanced signalling systems.
