SAIL Partners with The Art of Living to Promote Employee Well-being and Holistic Growth- Know More

New Delhi: The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), one of India’s leading Maharatna CPSEs, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Art of Living, through its outreach arm Vyakti Vikas Kendra India (VVKI), to introduce structured programmes focusing on emotional resilience, mindfulness, empowerment, and holistic growth for its employees.

The MoU was signed at the Art of Living International Centre in Bengaluru by Sanjay Dhar, Officiating ED (HR–L&D), MTI, SAIL, and Br. Pragyachaitanya, Chairperson, VVKI, in the presence of K.K. Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL. The occasion was blessed by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who highlighted the importance of fostering belongingness and harmony in the workplace as the foundation of collective growth.

Focus on Employee Well-being

Through this collaboration, SAIL employees will gain access to structured programmes aimed at equipping them with tools to:

  • Build emotional resilience
  • Practice mindfulness
  • Strengthen leadership and empowerment skills
  • Manage stress effectively and enhance productivity

The initiative is designed to align personal well-being with organizational growth, fostering a culture of belongingness, motivation, and holistic development within the PSU.

A New Milestone for PSUs

This partnership marks a significant step in integrating wellness and mindfulness practices into India’s public sector enterprises. By bringing structured well-being programmes to a large workforce, SAIL is setting a precedent for other PSUs to incorporate employee-centric and holistic growth initiatives, ensuring a future-ready and resilient workforce.
