Sanjay Pandey, a 1994-batch officer of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), has been appointed as Joint Controller General of Accounts in the Office of the Controller General of Accounts.
About Sanjay Pandey
Mr. Pandey brings with him a diverse academic and administrative background. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Sustainable Development from TERI School of Advanced Studies, a Master’s in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and an MBA from IGNOU.
He has previously served as Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Before his latest appointment, Pandey was serving as Additional Secretary at the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
His appointment is expected to strengthen financial oversight and strategic policy execution within the central accounting framework.
