Sanjeeb Kumar, Director (Finance) at Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), will continue in his post until May 31, 2025, as per the directive from the Ministry of Railways (MoR).
Mr Kumar, who completes his five-year tenure on May 5, 2025, is scheduled to retire upon reaching the age of superannuation later that month. The ministry has clarified that he will remain in position until either the Competent Authority makes a decision or further orders are issued – whichever comes earlier.
Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director, and Finance Director at RVNL, Sanjeeb Kumar also sits on the Boards of Bastar Railway Pvt. Ltd. and HSRIC Infra Services Ltd.
Over the course of his distinguished career, he has previously held leadership roles as Director (Finance) at both Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) and RailTel Corporation of India Ltd.
Mr Kumar is an alumnus of the University of Delhi, where he earned both his undergraduate degree and an MBA.
