New Delhi: The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mumbai Port Authority to implement solar power systems across all port buildings in Mumbai. This initiative is a significant step toward clean and green energy adoption in India’s maritime infrastructure sector.
MoU Exchanged by SECI and Mumbai Port Officials
The MoU was formally exchanged between Mr. Manas Ranjan Mishra, Deputy General Manager of SECI, and Mr. K. Ramesh, Chief Mechanical Engineer of Mumbai Port Authority, in Mumbai. The partnership aims to reduce reliance on conventional energy sources while promoting sustainable, low-carbon operations across port facilities.
