Mr. Sanjeev Kumar (IAS), the incumbent Secretary (Defence Production), visited Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) on September 29th and appreciated the infrastructure available at the HSL and its proactive approach to managing projects for timely completion and the yard’s future plans.
During his itinerary, the 1993-batch Maharashtra Cadre IAS officer appreciated HSL’s efforts toward the Union’s vision and urged the shipyard to further improve capital expenditure, invest in research and development, and increase the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies. He encouraged HSL to proactively pursue upcoming defence and commercial projects under ‘Make in India.’
While addressing the HSL’s senior management team, Mr. Kumar motivated the employees, wishing them success and urging them to continue their dedicated service with the highest level of integrity to the nation.
