In an important appointment in Telangana, Senior IAS officer M. Dana Kishore has been appointed to the Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Principal Secretary to the Governor. This appointment follows the release of B. Venkatesham from the FAC role, as announced by Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari.
Kishore, a 1996-batch officer, currently serves as the Principal Secretary to the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) department. Recently, he was also assigned as the nodal officer for coordinating various departmental activities related to the redevelopment of Osmania General Hospital, located near Goshamahal. The state government is constructing a new building for the hospital at the Police Academy in Goshamahal.
This reshuffle comes shortly after B. Venkatesham was appointed as the Chairman of Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), marking a significant shift in his responsibilities.
