The Jharkhand government on February 11 appointed senior IPS officer Neeraj Sinha as Director General of Police (DGP) of Jharkhand.
Neeraj Sinha is an IPS officer of 1987-batch and was currently serving as Director General (DG), Jharkhand Armed Police as well as an additional charge of DG, Anti Corruption Bureau.
Neeraj Sinha succeeded IPS officer M V Rao as DGP.
