Sunil Gupta has been appointed as Director (Operation and Commercial) of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited on an immediate absorption basis.
About Sunil Gupta
An experienced professional in the transport and infrastructure sector, Gupta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from L D College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) and an M.Tech in Building Technology and Construction Management from IIT Madras.
Gupta served as Chief General Manager at the Construction Corporation of India Limited from March 2018 to July 2022. Since July 2022, he has held the position of Chief Passenger Transportation Manager in Indian Railways.
His appointment is expected to enhance the operational and commercial efficiency of the Konkan Railway network.
