New Delhi/Naya Raipur: The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), the technical arm of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Naya Raipur to jointly promote research, innovation, and standardization in next-generation telecommunications technologies.
This strategic partnership brings together TEC’s national leadership in telecom standardization with IIIT Naya Raipur’s academic excellence and research capabilities, setting the stage for India’s stronger participation in the global digital and telecom landscape.

Research aligned with WRC-27 agenda for spectrum efficiency and dynamic access frameworks. - 5G, 6G, and IoT Frameworks
Joint innovation in future networks, including the design of test environments for next-generation wireless technologies. - Standardization Efforts
Collaborative contributions to ITU-T Study Groups and TEC’s National Working Groups, strengthening India’s global voice in telecom standards. - India-Specific Test Frameworks
