The government of Telangana has recently appointed senior IAS officer Mr. Burra Venkatesham (1995 batch), currently serving as the Higher Education Principal Secretary, as the Chairman of the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC). He will succeed Mr. Mahender Reddy (1986-batch IPS officer), whose tenure ends on December 3rd. Officer Venkatesham earlier served as the Principal Secretary in the Telangana Education Department.
