Textbook Chapter For ‘The Green Man of India’

2004 batch Indian Revenue Service officer, Rohit Mehra's works have been introduced in school textbooks of Jharkhand Government schools.

Popularly known as the ‘Green Man of India’ for his unconditional dedication towards saving and conserving the environment, IRS officer Rohit Mehra has received the honor of getting an entire chapter on his work, introduced in a school textbook.

The textbook called ‘Pankh’ features Mr. Mehra’s numerous works and his life dedicated to saving the environment and is published by the Ministry of Education, Government of Jharkhand.

The IRS officer, hailing from Ludhiana, Punjab has formed several micro forests, vertical gardens in multiple cities, launched unique ambulances and hospitals for trees, and recently involved 10 kids in planting 750 saplings within a time span of two hours!

He is an inspiration to many and even the official Twitter account of the IRS Association congratulated him for his endeavor.
